The Red Sea also provides some of the most affordable Marina mooring opportunities with access to the Red Sea from other European marinas and ports via the incredible Suez Canal. Northern Egypt boasts Africa’s largest City, Cairo, a holiday experience in its own right and home to the well known Giza Pyramids site.
And of course you cannot forget the longest river in Africa and the World, the Nile which has bought about the rise and wealth of the Egyptian empire due to the life its water brings to this otherwise dry desert land. Trips down the Nile on a traditional felluca boat can take you back in time along the Valley of the kings near Luxor where you can explore the tomb of Tutankhamun and the City of the Dead among other fabulous sites.
